The Problem
Daniel Merita is a highly experienced family law practitioner — but you wouldn't know it from his website. The old site looked like a stock template: pale blue, Times New Roman headers, and a contact form that went to a generic inbox. It was consistently outranked by competitors with half his experience. Worse, clients who found him often questioned his fees because the site didn't convey the quality of representation he provides.
The Approach
Premium legal work needs a premium presentation. We repositioned the firm as a high-trust, results-focused practice — not a commodity. The site needed to answer the question every potential client has: 'Can I trust this person with one of the most important situations of my life?' That question gets answered by design, copy, and credibility signals, not bullet points.
The Solution
I designed a dark, authoritative homepage with a strong headline, a brief bio section that humanized Daniel while establishing expertise, and a results/testimonials section. We integrated a Cal.com booking widget directly on the contact page — eliminating the back-and-forth of scheduling. I built a simple MDX blog for SEO; Daniel now publishes one article per month, each of which ranks for long-tail family law queries in his region.
The Outcome
Within 45 days, consultation requests increased by 73%. More importantly, the quality of inquiries improved — clients were arriving pre-sold on the firm's expertise and rarely questioning fees. The blog has started ranking and now drives 30% of total organic traffic. Three new clients have cited finding the blog as the reason they chose Merita Legal over competitors.
